Definition of Tomorrow

Posted by AJ Blythe at Tuesday, February 23, 2016

I've been busy lately: out-of-state visitors, new year of school starting for the Barbarians, me starting a new job (which I will talk about in a future post), basketball coaching, band rehearsals... the list of 'things' going on is quite lengthy. Plus there's the normal day-to-day things that have to be done.

The result is my 'to-do list' is forever long. I find myself more and more looking at what I hoped to get done today and moving it to tomorrow's list.

I now realise my understanding of tomorrow has been inaccurate all these years. This is the revised and corrected definition of tomorrow:

Tomorrow [tuh-mawr-oh] (n): the magical land where everything gets done

I love tomorrow; shame I haven't been able to find it. Do you struggle with today versus tomorrow?

So I glance over at your Weather Underground widget, and aside from noting that it's currently 64F in Canberra (it's 41F here in my little pocket of Eastern NC), I notice it says "03:09" in the corner. Is that the current time? 3 AM in the morning? It's after 11 am here on Saturday morning. So does that mean it's already tomorrow for you--at least from my perspective?

So, tell me future girl--how's my procrastination coming along? :)

Colin, your procrastination is coming along just fine. In fact, I'm pre-empting your procrastination by doing a little of my own. So now when you get to tomorrow, my today will have reached your procrastination quota and you'll have a productive day =)
