The reason 99% of all stories written are not bought by editors is very simple. Editors never buy manuscripts that are left on the closet shelf at home.

That quote is so true, Anita. I'm amazed that writers can be given suggestions on a manuscript by an editor who's willing to look at the book again, but instead, the writer leaves it languishing on the shelf. What's with that?

I agree, Valerie. I remember doing a goal setting course with Susan Meier and during it she said there are 2 types of fear holding us back - the fear of failure or the fear of success. I can only imagine it can be one of these.
