It's annoying when you're reading junk and wondering, how on earth did this get published?
Great quote. Reading definitely helps me with my writing. Absorb is a good word, because you are not always conscious of it.
Shayne, I know! And then you try not to think about the R's in your drawer and what that must mean...
I think I do absorb, Eleni - because when I have a really good book I forget to focus on anything but the story. But if you asked me afterwrads why I liked it I would be able to tell you.
